A photocatalytic membrane with WO3/CU2O heterostructur prepared through an atmosheric thermal plasma spray coating method

Visible-light-driven WO3/CU2O heterojunction is a prospective medium for photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes using solar energy. The WO3/CU2O heterojunction membranes with different WO3 to CU2O ratio were successfully fabricated by coating on an alumina oxide support using a thermal plasma spray (TPS) method. Compared with several traditional techniques, TPS coating is a rapid, simple and low-cost process, which has attracted the attention of many researchers.
