P2i’s nano-coating technology enhances the performance of filtration media by improving working efficiencies, particulate capture rates and reliability of filters. For example, in gas turbine filtration, the liquid repellent coating prevents water mist and salt water from clogging the filter pores and reaching the gas turbine engine, thereby allowing for greater and longer performance.

Through advances in surface modification, P2i’s technology allows a step-change in material selection. By adding liquid repellent (including oleophobic) benefits to cheaper, easily formed filter media such as cellulose or nylon, without affecting the pore size distribution, these materials can become a cost effective alternative.
